[01] The player pool

The player pool, the captain choice, and the small list of habits.

The first read: the player pool. The second: the captain choice. The third: the contest review.

The player pool is the list of available players for the match. The pool is set by the contest; reading the pool once is the cheapest way to know which players are eligible and which are out. The pool is the same on every fantasy app for the same match.

The captain choice is the most-typed-in control. The captain earns 2x points, the vice-captain earns 1.5x, and the rest earn 1x. The captain is the most-visible control on the contest card, and the choice is the most-rewritten control on the fantasy app.

[02] The contest review

The contest review, the points system, and the small list of habits.

The fourth read: the contest review. The fifth: the points system. The small list of habits that survive a slow network.

The contest review is the page that summarises the contest after the match. The review is a single scroll with the team, the captain, the points, and the bonus points. The review is the cheapest way to read what the contest settled and why.

The points system is the page that lists the rules. The points system is the most-rewritten page in the app, and the most-ignored. Reading the points system once is the cheapest way to know what a fifty, a two-wicket haul, and a catch are worth, and the small habit that catches a missed bonus-point rule.
